Machining to print in Tijuana: your drawing, your part
It is our most requested service and the easiest to describe: you send the print, we deliver the part. What makes it different is everything that happens before a machine is switched on.
Review before quoting, not after
Every print that arrives goes through a manufacturability review before a price goes out. An engineer looks at tolerances, material, finish and workholding, hunting for the three things that make a part expensive without adding value: an unnecessary tolerance, an impossible internal radius and a material nobody stocks locally.
If we find something, you hear about it with the quote, not after delivery. Sometimes the observation cuts twenty percent off the cost; sometimes it just avoids rework. In no case do we change your print on our own: you decide, and we build what you authorize.
No drawing? We still work
It happens constantly: a broken part from an old machine, no drawing, no supplier, and a line waiting. We measure it with calibrated instruments, draft it in SolidWorks or AutoCAD and deliver both the replacement part and the new print, which is yours from then on.
That print is worth as much as the part. The next time it breaks, the order is a phone call rather than an investigation.
One part or five hundred
There is no minimum order here. We keep manual machines precisely for the one-off, where programming a CNC would cost more than making the part, and CNC centers for when the same drawing becomes recurring.
If we notice that a part you order loose every month could move to a production contract, we propose it: your unit cost drops and we can schedule the shop better. It is one of the few arrangements where both sides actually win.

Frequently asked questions about machining to print in Tijuana
We flag it before machining. A print with an impossible dimension or contradictory tolerances stops at review and we call you. Building something we know is wrong helps nobody.
Dimensional pickup is quoted separately and happens once. On most spare parts it is a fraction of the total cost, and the resulting drawing stays with you for future orders.
Yes, and it is routine. Customer prints, processes and volumes are never shared or used as examples without written authorization.
